We worked with Leading Edge in association with COP26 (Conference of the Parties) : The global climate summit welcomed world leaders, activists and delegates from all over the world, wrapping up in Glasgow November 2021. The conference was an incredibly complex event hosted by Scotland and the UK. Originally scheduled for 2020, COP26 was postponed in response to COVID-19, giving organisers, the United Nations, the UK Government and the host city time to redesign operational plans. Glasgow Central railway station welcomed COP26 attendees and passengers with a campaign that enabled them to showcase the rail industry’s green achievements. Those who attended were able to enjoy driving a train simulator at the Rail Delivery Group’s (RDG) green and sustainable stand, and Bigabox were given the opportunity to deliver and operate our 2.6mm LED video within this incredible stand. The campaign, titled ‘We Mean Green’ has been organised by RDG, and their objective is for us to learn more about how the rail industry intends to encourage getting more people and goods onto trains and off of the roads in a bid to help in the fight against climate change.
